I know, I have been a little too late on/about this news. However, as my Dad used to say – It’s never too late for anything!
I was merely waiting to make a confirmation, If it’s indeed is a real deal or not cause I have had almost hours wasted on checking, listening to ripped, remixed and what not versions of this brand new single off Daft Punk‘s long awaited studio effort titled “Random Access Memories“.
But as the latest single hit all the major online retailers two days back, is already earning rave reviews among the blogging/music review world. It’s an interesting collaboration between one of the finest funk/pop guitarist “Nile Rodgers” and one of the most interesting Hip Hop/R&B producer in the game right now – Pharrell Williams on a track laid out by one of the most outstanding, outrageous (and add a few more similar adjectives) French Dance/House giants of our time – Daft Punk. This could be the collaboration of the moment, to be very honest.
Not to mention, just yesterday music streaming service Spotify announced that the latest single “Get Lucky” has set a new record in terms of biggest streaming day for a single track in the U.S. and the United Kingdom.
Well, enough with it. Go and cop the copy of the latest single at your favourite digital retailer. If anyone’s interested, I got the iTunes link right here. Meanwhile, you can listen to a preview of the track down below.
